You Know You’re A Mom When…
Hello Friends,
You know You're A Mom When....
-Mysterious stains appear on your clothes...like out of no where.
-You can literally watch cartoons all day long. In fact, you may prefer it....and you have favorites!
-You know all of the THEME SONGS to the aforementioned cartoons by heart.
-You think that Sesame Street is actually really inspiring and deep.
-You have absolutely NO aversion to bodily fluids. You are convinced that you can now dominate the medical industry as nothing could be grosser than sick toddler diarrhea. NOTHING.
-You never get the last bite.
-You get zero amount of sleep.
-You babyproof everywhere you go....you clear the restaurant tables of salt pepper and other miscellaneous items before you even sit down, you move the trash can off of the floor at grandparents house, and place GiGi's crystal elephants at the top of the bookcase before you even say "Hi".
-You also parent control the TV everywhere you go.....I'm sure your best friend's husband didn't appreciate that when he got home that night......AND DIDN'T KNOW THE PASSWORD.
-There's a riot every time you go to the bathroom. I'm talking crying, knocking over the gate, and subsequently trapping you in the bathroom with said fallen gate.
-Someone hands you poop.
-You step in poop.
-You are restricted to wearing studs and a ponytail or messy bun for the rest of your life. Anything....that cant be pulled on.
-Your feet are sore from repeatedly getting ran over by a little rogue baby in a walker who follows you everywhere you go.
-You can't help but laugh from insanity when all of your children erupt in a chorus of cries at the SAME TIME!
-You're constantly on a search for the perfect diaper bag and sippy cup.
-Your day is RUINED when you lose said sippy cup.
-You wake up with puke on your nightshirt.
-You catch your little ones sharing, praying, or being kind to each other and you think "Maybe I am doing something right."
-You get attack-hugged by the whole family, and you feel so loved.
-You watch your kids learn something new or master a new skill and think "I'm supposed to be here to see this."
-All of the babies are sleeping and you think "I love these precious little goobers. Thank you God."
....and the list goes on and on and on you guys! Being a mom is soooo tough. It's the hardest job I've ever had in my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything though...and I will master motherhood! You will too!
"I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me..."
~Philippians 4:13 KJV
Be encouraged ladies. We can do this.
P.S- Please comment below and let me know if you have any more things I can add to the list! This list is about to be the most hilarious thing EVER, and I know a ton of moms can relate!
