Surprise! {New Beginnings}

Hello Friends,

I hope that you all are doing well. We are thick in the season of Spring here where we live, with a lot of spring showers, some mild days, and allergies. I've never been one for New Year's resolutions. About springtime is when I start to hit my stride and make some changes for the year ahead. Seriously...it takes me that long to figure out everything from the time the actual new year begins.

Springtime always makes me think of new beginnings, and all things being made new. A lot of animals have their babies in the spring, new flowers and plants begin to bloom, fresh weather blows in, Daylight Savings Time starts.....stuff like that. Also, having just celebrated Resurrection Sunday, I am also inspired by the ascension of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My favorite part of Jesus' story is when He comes back to life! Talk about a plot twist...right?!?! Now that is what I call a New Beginning....for everyone!

As for my family and I, we have a lot going on as usual. However, we have a special something that has been in the works since last year.

SURPRISE!!!!! WE'RE PREGNANT!!

AGAIN!!! HAHA!

We're expecting a sweet little rainbow girl this summer, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her into our fold. Family and friends have known for a little while now, but I'm finally at a point where I'm comfortable telling the public. This will be our fifth little gift from God and my third little girl (I can't believe I'm going to have THREE daughters.....and four kids aged four and under). We're nuts...but thank God every day, because this little lady is proof of God's promises to his children. He promised to give us prosperity and abundance. We were devastated last year when our fourth baby, Angel, stayed with Jesus. However, we were grateful to be able to lean on God in ways we never had to before. We had no idea how He would bless us!

So expect a couple more posts in the next few days. I'll be talking about what it's like to expect a fourth or fifth baby, what it's like being pregnant after having a miscarriage, I'll tell Angel's story and offer encouragement to anyone who may have had a miscarriage or infant loss, and just fill you in on a lot of new things my family has started doing. I thank you all in advance for your prayers for my family and kind thoughts towards us. Things are about to get really really really real around here ladies! Stay tuned!

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?"

~Isaiah 43:18-19
